Marshall Fire

Over 600 homes destroyed!

Many of us were glued to our televisions on December 30th as we watched the utter destruction of the Marshall Fire. It will take months to assess the devastation and emotional toll, however I know it will be something we will once again overcome. Our community has proven that we overcome anything, and we have also proven time and time again that we are willing to step up for our fellow teammates, opponents, coaches, referees or friends.

Please join us in putting your collective arms around the Boulder Bison, Roughriders and entire hockey community. DAWG Nation was founded for reasons just like this. We are contributing the first $10,000 to this fund designed to aid the hockey families that were affected by this tragedy.

Please consider hitting the link below and making a contribution today. DAWG Nation is a 501c3 nonprofit and all funds on this link will go directly to the families in need.

  1. My son Kevin O’Brien and his wife Sally have two sons who play hockey. Their names are Reid and Spencer O’Brien. I have donated to the Marshal Fire Fund. Some of their friends and teammates lost their homes in the fire.

  2. Hey Dawg Nation! My small portion of the pie is aimed at Doug Johnson of the Long Hockey family who lost his home of 25 years in the fire. Love ‘ya Dougie ~ hang in there man! Can’t wait to see you back on the ice.
