Dennis/Tim Night at the Avs
November 18th (Friday)
Our Dennis/Tim night at the Avs is a little over a week away. We have a contingent of 45 already signed up and ready to go. It will quite a day for Tim and Dennis as they will be personal guests of Avs assistant coach, Slyvain Lefebvre. As part of the day, Tim and Dennis will attend the Avs morning skate, get a private tour of the facilities, and most importantly personally address the Avs in locker room after their morning skate. They will then be Slyvain’s guests at the game and will visit with the players after the game as well. For all of the folks attending the game please head to Brooklyn’s after the game for a cocktail and listen to Dennis and Tim recap their unique and exciting experience. Our next fundraiser is rapidly approaching as well. We are the official hosts of junior A hockey game at the Pepsi Center between the Yellowstone Quake vs. Gillette Wild on Saturday, Nov 26th. Mike Pijanowski is organizing this one. We have heavily discounted tickets for this one and Dawg Nation will be getting $5 for each ticket sold on this one as well. The Avs play the Oilers that night at 5 pm and we’re expecting the junior game to start at 8 pm. This is a terrific chance to see NHL and junior hockey on the same night. The Quake features three former Dawgs (Michael & Mitchell Pijanowski and Darek Scott). All three are having strong seasons and would love to have Dawg Nation support on this special night. Quake vs Dawg Nation
November 27th (Sunday)
As part of the junior hockey weekend our own Dawgs I squad will be taking on the Yellowstone Quake at the Edge Ice Arena on Sunday, Nov 27th at 1 pm. This one will be pretty cool as it will be terrific exhibition game showcasing our top team against some very good competition. Tickets for this one are $5 each and all proceeds will go directly to the Dakota Ridge and Chatfield high school hockey programs.
